Bob-570-275985 Yes, finding the Blu-Ray disc in a KMart bin marked $3.99 was a pretty clear indication. But then I found I paid $2 more than prices on eBay! Ultimately, I'd say I paid $2.99 more than I later wished.Along the way of this script, which like many politicians, was Fact-Free, I kept wondering if the director and cast actually meant to produce such a discordant mess. The story actually bears telling - after it's re-written to be more credible. But turn after turn, the film snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. One example, the fed in charge is a cross-eyed FBI guy whose impossible to take seriously. And speaking of FBI, how in the world did a nearly-hijacked plane come to the President's attention so quickly? Oh, oh - yeah, right - her brother was flying the plane. And name one model of commercial jet aircraft that requires two pilots to managed the control yokes which magically respond independently and quite differently? Ah, but the flight crew did display uniform looks that alternated between, "Duh" and terror - with or without reason.Oh, this film was a romp...and for $0.99, I might even agree it was worth the price of admission.
kosmasp Well what could you expect of a movie that has a title like that? Exactly. So if you are going in with hopes to watch another Armageddon or even Passenger 57 (a rather good movie, especially compared to this one), than don't even rent/watch it. You will be thoroughly disappointed. But if you watch this with some friends, you might find yourself having fun at how ridiculous the movie is.I don't wanna judge the actors or anyone else involved in the movie. Getting a movie made at all is hard task. Though some would argue it's easier to do nowadays (in the 21st century) than it was a while ago. Still I cannot recommend this, unless you really prepare for it ... (and even then ...)
niceone-786-892901 The poor plot, acting and everything else have already been touched on, but I was very amused at the Secret Service woman who just sat by and let people get shot and a hand cut off when shes sat there holding a gun and apparently the bad guys will always freeze when she aims at them.. I have to say though, my favourite line was " Madam President, the Secret Service informed me that the First Lady and your children are in the bunker". Either that went completely unnoticed by the film makers and the 'actress' who said it, or they are quietly trying to imply that the female President is gay. Can't say I've ever seen a film before where they've suggested that, so I like it just for having some balls!
mutuas To be honest, I kept checking the date to confirm its 2010 and not 1980. I mean, a producer actually produced this in this time and age?! Ten minutes into the movie, i was ready to eject the movie coz i did not want to lose one and a half hours of my life on such crap, but i got curious on finding out how worse the movie could get. Some parts were so bad, I was actually laughing out loud!(Pun intended). Seriously, a trained air marshal that cant shoot straight at 4 feet? A laser with one foot precision misses by 70 feet? Aborting to crash land a plane but opting to shoot it down? A wing that hits many obstacles without damage, but an exploding door pops off an engine?!? I could name a thousand but let me stop here.Im fully convinced that this was actually a mockery to airline disaster movies. I must commend these guys for being right on target.Avoid this like plague. Unless you got the same inspiration that i had.
