l-95084 Beautiful hotties abound and I am a straight man so laughed and had fun and enjoyed.
Michael Ledo This is not a sequel but a remake of the original. As a sequel goes, it rates up there with Caddy Shack II. The movie starts out with some smart narration as people are compared to the cars that they drive. The message of the story is mixed and lost. At one point it was a High School Animal Farm where the non-plastics were as bad as the plastics, and at other times it was about friendship. The movie starts out at about 8 stars and digresses to no stars during a female football game that made no sense. Rated PG-13, and that is about the age of the audience this film was designed. Three stars is generous, but I am old and the girls are cute. BTW putting sugar in a gas tank is not just mean but is criminal activity.
sophiasnavely I know that this is six years after the release of this damn movie but I got recommended it by Netflix. This movie enraged me so much it actually hurt. Now for the most part this movie is very generic and tried to copy the original way to much. Jokes were stale and the story its self wasn't good either. However there was something I just couldn't let up, and that is the fact that in this movie no real punishment or good message was given. The ending of the original Mean Girls had a good message at the end and you actually liked people by the end of it. Here though, that's not the case. I'll get right to the point this movie had so many f*cking illegal things that happened it was ridiculous, and the "villan" really gets no punishment. Now for the illegal stuff it was done by the main "mean girl" but her friends also helped. Some of the felonies she committed consists of: breaking and entering three times, destruction of property, robbery, illegally recording someone, stalking, and much, MUCH more. And in the end the chick gets arrested, for five seconds. Overall she is let go and only has to do a week of community service. Now a lot of people probably could care less about this but it just shows how someone can get away will all of that and still go about their life happily. And by the end you still don't like anyone, they all stay exactly the same. Overall I STRONGLY advice NOT watching this because I feel so disgusted it hurts.
alexhallahan No. Mean Girls did not require a sequel, and most certainly did NOT deserve a sequel so in-your-face PG-13, that i was chocking on the mickey mouse ears being shoved down my throat.I am writing this review about half a year after the one and only time i saw this movie so i can't actually remember most of it, other than it tries desperately hard to copy and paste everything from the original while trying to make it it's own and then fail. Also, this movie is very Disney channel, in that it's all about "Gee whiz we sure as gosh can get through this year if we all just stick together and the bestest friends!" Just..no.
