jacobjohntaylor1 3.9 is not good ratting. But this film is so bad 3.9 is overrating it. The Omen (1976) is a good movie. Demain Omen II is a good movie. Omen III The final conflict is a great film. This is awful. Do not see it. It is not scary. The story line is awful. The ending is awful. Do not wast your time. And do not wast your money. Do not see this movie. This is one of the worst horror movie of the 90's. Good actors wasted there talent being in this awful movie. I can believe the same man who directed Halloween 5 the revenge of Micheal Myers directed this crap. I can believe that same who wrote Poltergeist III wrote this crap. Do not see movie is awful. This is just crap.
LeonLouisRicci Looks like a Made-for-TV Movie and it was. That said, it's Not as Awful as Some Say, quite naturally a Final Cash-In Produced after "Omen III: The Final Conflict" (1981). Go Figure. The Makers of this Average TV Movie figured there were still a few Ring-a-Dings in the Franchise Cash Register. So, this is what You Get. The Creep Factor Makes it Watchable, with a Fine Lead Performance from Asia Vieira as Delia. The rest of the Cast is OK and it has the feel of a Rush-Job, but Fans of the Series and Horror Enthusiasts seem to Pummel this one Routinely. There is Certainly a Hellish amount of Really Bad Horror Movies. Maybe because Fans of the Genre are Suckers. They Pay Their Money (again) and are "Horrified" at what They get.Gullible, comes to Mind, but that may be too kind for These Pretenders that seem High-Minded When it Comes to Their Beloved Horror Films. The Track Record is Really Quite Abysmal, Especially When it Comes to Franchise Films in the Genre. Overall, this is Typical in Late Numbered Series Films. Jason (Friday the 13th) actually went to Double Digit Sequels. This one is Not as Bad as its Reputation.
Bezenby The son of Satan is back! Only this time, in a mind blowing subversion of all we've come to hold dear, he's a chick! Kind of, although I'd rather you find out that rather daft plot twist for yourself. This film is no better or no worse than any other Omen sequel, to be honest, although this one does have a few dafter elements that actually improves the tone after the mediocre tone of the last two. Did you know that Satan hates holistic therapy and new age healing? I didn't know that either, but he/she sure does! Why, I don't know, but there you go.Delia, as the spawn of Satan is known here, is adopted by two lawyer parents, the dude of which is going into politics. Delia has no friends and generally stares ominously at everybody until they die somehow. Her adoptive mum gets suspicious and the two of them spend a lot of time staring at each other. A PI is hired to find out what's going on and uncovers the truth. People wise up to Delia and get killed. You know, the same thing that happened in the last three films. Delia ends up with a brother and what happens there is truly stupid (as is the 'choir from hell' bit). I don't know why people slag this one off – it wasn't as if The Omen two or three are classics, is it? The hugest plot hole in this film is that, in the Final Conflict, Jesus arrived back on Earth – so where was he in this film? Omen? More like 'Oh, man, I can't believe I sat through four of these films in a week'.Horror series better than the Omen: Evil Dead, Phantasm, Scanners, Halloween (no, really), The Howling (large cheese factor), Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, House, Shark Attack, Exorcist, Zombie Flesh Eaters, The 'Living Dead' series, Ring, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Sleepaway Camp, Demons, Maniac Cop, Ghoulies, Critters, Children of the Corn, Prom Night, Slumber Party Massacre, Troll, Lepruchan, Pet Sematary, Creepshow, Camp Blood, and the Blind Dead.
homecoming8 The "Omen" franchise was a successful trilogy so Fox Studios decided to cash in with a lame and cheap TV-movie. This one has nothing to do with the other movies, besides the fact that the story is a repetition of the former ones, where all the elements were taken without anything new or even remotely interesting added. Faye Grant is best known for here leading role in the "V" series back in the 80's, besides her the cast in fairly unknown. The cardboard characters are uninteresting and very stereotype. The dialogue is cheesy, just what you would expect from an average made-for-TV movie. They even tried to put in some funny lines which is really painful to endure, just terrible. This time it's not a little boy but a little girl. Her big dark eyes are supposed to be the scary effect but it doesn't really work. The deaths are unconvincing without any real special-effects or gore like in the previous ones. I even liked the 2006's remake of the original. The original remains the best, the second was a very good sequel. The third was okay and since it was titled "The FINAL conflict" it all ended there. Forget this cheap garbage, it really isn't worth watching. One of the director's is Dominque Othin-Girard who also f**ked up the "Halloween" franchise with the fifth one which is the worst Halloween in history. Same thing can be said with "Omen IV" except for the fact that it's even w-a-y worse than "Halloween V" and that says a lot.Is there anything good to say about this 'movie' ? -Yes, Jerry Goldsmith's original music from Part I and III can be heard in several scenes. The rest of the music is from a new and unknown composer which is once again.. a bad thing.
