swincha I enjoyed this movie and it made me want to know more at the end of the movie. Everyone is too much of a critic. You are at home, as for me seeing this from Amazon Prime. This is a good tv sci fy movie that most have not already seen.
Andariel Halo Despite, or perhaps because of the film's synopsis, I was completely drawn in. It bore some resemblance in themes to a few other sci-fi movies i'd seen, but not very many.In fact I found myself starting to jump ahead of the film's plot by figuring out many twists in advance, even to the point of figuring out the ending long before it unfolded. All the classic tropes of this sort of alternate-universe/mirror-universe stuff is there, from the secretly evil doppelgangers and the brief "oops we're in the wrong universe" foray which ends up directly tying in to the main plot later on. I'm doing my best not to spoil anything but the film is so easy to read that simply by going over all the common tropes, it becomes almost impossible not to spoil some aspects of the film. But the thing is that movies like this tend to be few and far between, and so I ended up enjoying it despite the easy predictability of it. It was fun and even exciting to go along with.
gennares Good, it's a low budget. Good, is independent. But. Why bad actors? I am so sorry to say that but they act like a 'let's play On Stage in the backyard' game. Probably they aren't bad per se but they aren't nicely directed, that's for sure. There are also several flaws in the story line that not make sense, even considering the concept of world layers. Not 'spoilering', if you going to watch it you will probably notice yourself. Honestly I can appreciate Sci-Fi without big special effects but I need to 'feel it' to enjoy and this wasn't the case.
emrssp The storyline is interesting, but many scenes simply couldn't have happened the way the movie shows it, with the simplicity and lack of consequences shown.
