jonathanhudon It's even better than this awfull Hulk Hogan movie 'Mr. Nanny' with a very similar plot. Sure the actors are certainly no 'Oscar worthy' containder but at least they try and it's a honest comedy for a midnight film if you are REALLY bored...
[email protected] As a collector who often gets asked to recommend films, this is one I often suggest as great family viewing. It has comedy with broad appeal, tongue in cheek dialogue, the occasional high-octane explosion or over-the-top comedic fight scene, and no bad language. If the actors were taking themselves seriously, this movie would not be worth a second's viewing, but all of the stars send themselves or their characters up, with the effect that this is a riotous romp across Los Angeles, but with a well inserted message of love, warmth, and mutual reliance, whether it be brothers depending on each other, the importance of family, or the need to look after the brotherhood of man. The kids will enjoy the slapstick and the smart kid characters, and they won't know they're being educated through entertainment, and the adults can enjoy the asides. All this in a movie that stars James Bond and Pontius Pilate!
luvsbordercollie This movie starts out looking like a big stinker and for the first half hour or so it is. Then it suddenly falls into place. It stops being about The Falcone Brothers (Peter and David Paul) flexing and starts being a touching story of orphaned twins (Christian and Joseph Cousins, superb as always) coming to terms with their situation. Worth renting, but probably not worth owning.
TWO-SHAY This movie is definitely funny, but not on it's own right. The fact is, this movie is absolutely terrible! Starring the Barbarian bros., the only reason one could have for watching this movie is to make fun of how moronic it is. However, although the movie is one of the worst I've ever seen, sometimes I give credit where credit isn't due. I believe this movie is worth watching simply because it's so unintentionally HELARIOUS. Five stars out of five!
