karli_barli I don't know why you people have to critique so harshly, it's not like they're shooting to make an Oscar award winning production here. They are aiming to entertain a group of girls in the age ranges of approximately 12-16 years of age who generally enjoy watching movies that talk about boys and fashion and going to exotic places. I'd say that if you asked pretty much any 12-16 year old girl that enjoys good old Mary-Kate and Ashley if they enjoyed this movie, they will probably say yes. And they will probably say yes if you asked them about the other ones as well (personally, I enjoyed passport to Paris, our lips are sealed, winning London, and holiday in the sun the best). You're all entitled to your own opinions of course but just take into consideration what the production people are aiming for, jeez
cooling_boy1 I have been a big Olsen -fan since i began to watch their movies a couple of years ago. They haven't done any bad movies and i love most of them. And this movie was no exception. It contains everything you can ask for and even more. And the locations where this movie was filmed make it even better. Rome is a fantastic town with a lot of things to see and do. You see a lot of Rome in the movie a learn a lot about the culture. And the best of all is that the "Olsens" guide you in the town. It's really hard to compare the movies they've done but i think that this is one of the very best. Because of the environment, the great acting, the great actors, and finally because it is a kind of language barrier between the Italian boys and the American girls. So it becomes rather funny meanwhile when they can't understand each other so well. That's the main reasons why i think this movie is so great and if you are a real Olsen -fan you are hopefully going to agree with me. I've seen many times and i can't get enough of it and it's exciting each time i see it. So if you want to see a great movie then watch this!
veggi_chan For the love of god please don't see this movie! Its a waste of time, the plot is predictable, as are the romantic scenes. Trying to build too much with very little, this film and its evil predictable villain is just lame. The characters aren't developed, and most of the film is padded out with shots of Rome, which is much more interesting than the actual film. To top all of that, the acting is a disgrace. I know everyone tries to find their niche, but this is truly a disaster. I can't believe that someone actually paid however many millions of pounds to put this film on screen. Don't waste money or time on this film, go see your grandma or something worthwhile instead.
sminkydink As many others have pointed out, this movie fits the plot of every other Olsen twins movie since 'Passport to Paris'- go to a foreign country, kiss cute boys, and make a difference in someone's life. Having said this, I enjoyed the movie. It was a thoroughly entertaining 81 minutes and I would happily watch it again. I am ready to see Mary-Kate and Ashley move on to more mature projects now, where they can really meet their potential.
