My friend and I really enjoyed Seasons 1 and 2. Strong female characters, strong male characters, excellent writing, nice character development. And then there was Season 3. About 1/2 of the regular cast from Season 1 and 2 are eliminated, but worse - the ones that were retained were mutated into a caricature of themselves. Consistently, they act out of character with the existing history and styles of the roles. Every female character is thin, weak, stupid, shallow, lacking the foresight of a gerbil. Every male character is arrogant, sexist, and mostly interested in exaggerated male bonding gestures to establish a new hierarchy. All the characters become or are introduced as simply dis-likable.Season 3 is so bad, it is a parody of the former show and the genre. It is so bad, it is a grotesque anti-strong-woman propaganda piece lacking any artistic follow-through from previous seasons. No wonder S3 was its last season; its existing audience had no chance to like this abrupt transformation. But it wasn't a natural death. This was an artistic murder of an interesting show. I am embarrassed for those unfortunate enough to be responsible for this travesty of a series re-boot.And this is really sad - because in seasons 1 and 2, Body of Proof showed interesting quirky characters in a police procedural with nice dashes of pretty accurate science. The relationships made sense and changed over time; there was some lovely expressions of ambiguity, showcasing excellent writing, direction, and acting.Megan Hunt, Kate Murphy, Ethan Gross, Curtis Brumfield, Lacey Fleming, Joan Hunt, Bud Morris, Sam Baker and Peter Dunlop: RIP you marvelous characters. We may never know who killed you - but we will mourn, and remember you.

I liked the darker tone and the new direction towards drama versus comedy, but apparently the viewers did not. I sure hope they counted the internet watchers when they made the cancellation decision, I know many watching on those services don't get counted in the ratings body count. This show was not "House", but it wasn't bad at all and had interesting stories, and a great new dynamic between the lead and the new male interest. There wasn't a single redundant character, and I would have liked to have seen more back-stories other than the lead developed, in the form of a continuing arc.Ah. Phooey.

In all honesty, this has got to be one of the best shows out there! The Scenarios are thoughtfully written, it is directed very well, and the stars of the show really make it work. This is way better than all the CSI shows, it makes me glued to the TV. Besides the hospital and the medical examination building, the show has other stories behind it, it has family, romance, and science all together. It even beats the Big Bang theory! I would be devastated if season 3 was canceled, because this show truly deserves to be run on television unlike the other unnecessary shows that we see.

Very like this serial and admire by Dana Delany. The serial sufficiently good describes the medical and crime problems decision. I am scientist and like that author were responsible when wrote of scenarios. Hope Kate will return her status (have nothing contrary to Curtis, but think it is time to repair the past status quo) and not fall to banal battle for authority. Question to authors - where is ex-husband of Maggie? I think that it not necessary to develop very deeply a intimacy line of Maggie and her boyfriend, it will be good to keep all at present level. Haven't something to add. I like this serial. I very like Dana Delany. Thank to authors.
