tamaranicole666 Made it 6:32 min in and that was even after giving a 2nd AND third chance. I was hoping in vain that maybe the horrendous acting and fake laughter would some how magically turn into something watchable... Yikes. They push they're jokes. Fake they're laughter. And seem to think acting consists of facial expressions and hand gestures. I've really enjoyed the new show 'Mindy' which I find absolutely hilarious and each actor seems to have amazing comedic timing. Its like they feed off each other and you can't tell they are 'reading they're lines'. I mean I would actually think it was mostly improvisation. This however is like you can see them reading the text in their heads. Awful acting, boring storyline.
ctomvelu1 Recently caught two episodes of this network show. The first was OK, the second dismal. Sort of a "Friends" crossed with a daytime soap opera. The only interesting aspect was some quick shots of couples having sex. And there wasn't nearly enough of those. Also, are we ever going to see two people naked and having sex? Someone always seems to be wearing some article of clothing. I suspect the audience for this would surge if the network had a little more gumption and pushed the nudity envelope. As it is, this show will be dead soon enough. It is poorly acted and not particularly well written, and the actors are generic at best, much like soap opera actors.
rcowlingva Just watched the NBC show "Friends With Benefits". It's a cross between the NBC show "Friends," the smell of ammonia, and strep throat. Pres. Obama's wish was fulfilled with this one - the show is, in fact, shovel ready. The show is not funny, poorly acted, predictable, and way too crude to be on at 8pm. I anxiously watch many new shows hoping for a treat like Arrested Development or Cheers. I am amazed that, even though ABC put the show on ice, that NBC tried to give the show a shot. Also amazed that the show has been on for almost a month and no one has heard of it. While it doesn't help, the best thing for the country is to add the cast and crew back to the unemployment roster.
rukmal1987 Well I was expecting a funny show since it is said to be a comedy. but I should say I was totally disappointed. with all those great shows on air i don't think this a series that you should waste your time on. The acting is poor to start with. and the jokes are pretty lame too. It looks like the actors are putting more effort just to make an impression and land bigger roles. besides although it is named friends with benefits, there is only one couple that has sex together. I think the concept alone could have been taken more seriously. So in conclusion all I can say is that if you don't mind wasting your time on some lame jokes then this might interest you. besides i don't think this deserves a second season either.
