Great shows like this and Revolution where incredible but they chose the wrong bad guy for them to be successful, the US Government.

You watch the first episode and it's good. You wonder if they can keep it up. Maybe toward the end of the first episode you start to wonder a bit. The doubt starts to creep in. You think, "No, it wouldn't happen like that. This sequence of events is implausible."Despite your doubts you'll move on to Episode 2 and 3 - each episode bringing more and more events that lead you to slowly conclude that the screenwriters of this show have absolutely zero respect for the unfortunate souls watching this show. The acting was good, some better than others, but the script and possibly the entire premise of the show itself was like someone's unfinished first draft. It's like a bunch of screenwriters got together and had a contest entitled "What's the lamest way we could combine Lost with Hunt for Red October all while making fun of the viewer."Looking for something to watch, I'd skip it.

USS Colorado is a nuclear sub and they are tasked to pick up a team Navy SEALs. Then they receive a strange questionable order to launch their nukes against Pakistan. Captain Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher) refuses the order to fire, and the US gov proclaims it a mutiny. After escaping an attack from another US sub, the crew and SEALs take refuge on a small island. It was a convoluted idea to start off with. It had all kinds of questions that remained unanswered. They nuked Pakistan and it's treated like an afterthought. It would probably be advisable to actually show the nuclear blasts over Pakistan. At least then it's not something that just happened off stage. But once they started at such a convoluted place, they had no where to go but add more and more complications. It's like a death spiral that they can't pull out of. They pull in the islanders, then an insurrection among the mutiny, then the Chinese and the Pakistanis. It's a big ball of crazy.
