Jithin K Mohan Probably the best Indian spy thriller among the handful of them even though producing most number of films every year. Kamal Hassan is amazing as the lead while also directing with all the constraints due to the industry and the country. Music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and the action sequences are some of the highlights of the film.

Reviewers seem to be ga ga about Kamala Hasan and yes, the movie is different in its style. The narration is repeatedly interrupted by flashbacks that hurt the pace of the story. The first half is particularly slow and doesn't really build towards anything. It is true that unlike the usual Hindi movie, there are no perfect characters here but the movie falls mostly flat as the plot is revealed and a transition is made from mystery to thriller/action. Songs mostly distract without even the standard bollywood masala value. Baby and Phantom did a far better job and even less perfect thrillers like Holiday and December 16 do a better job of keeping you riveted.

There are just too many amazing things in this movie.First, I would like to say or everyone will say that the cinematography is mind- blowing.They took shots with stunning angles. I have no words to describe it. Coming to the scenery, the shots in New York were done well and the fighting scenes were very very good.The not-notable VFX in this movie absolutely amazing. The Afghanistan part was awesome as you can't see any flaws.The story is not simple to understand as watch closely to really understand the flow of the story.Remember this, small words matter or not you'll be asking yourself why did so many things happen. Anyway, this movie will definitely be remembered and praised for a long time to come . This is a very bold and brave attempt from an Indian director.Hats off to Kamal sir for taking Tamil cinema to the next level , which is the level that will touch a persons brilliance . Final verdict, This is a must watch and a 'Truly Masterclass' movie...

Mani S Its an Tamil movie in Hollywood standards, not only in technical but the movie is also deals with international issue in a everyone,s view.this movie is not at all against to Muslims, even the hero of the movie portrayed as a Muslim.In real many Muslims were also acted.If the movie is against them then why should have been they acted?Ban on the movie is coz of political reasons only.Some of them have complained that kamal hassan supports Americans,but he doesn't.In many scenes he slapped Americans too.Finally the movie is worth to watch and i am waiting for the second part.
