I was really excited to hear this show was coming and boy it did not disappoint. This show has an essence of charmed about it, but it is so much more. The characters and casting for this show are great. The story behind it is very involving. You really feel for everyone during their ups and downs, I watched a whole season in a week....I have never done that before. The special effects are pretty cool, Joanna played by Julia Ormond is fantastic as the mother and head witch in the family. I love how her personality clashes with her sister played by the lovely & spirited Madchen Amick who plays Wendy. Wendy has made me laugh with her quick wit and sparkling personality. The daughters are both acted perfectly by Rachel Boston as Ingrid and Jenna Dewan as Freya. They all seem to have a very real chemistry that makes it believable that they are a family in this show. The men in the show do an amazing job, Dash & Killian are both the icing on the cake. Heartthrobs and smart, perfectly paired with these amazing Beauchamp witches. This show is a winner in every way! Every episode I seen so far, had me at the edge of my seat. Unpredictable and just so much fun. I love this show.I am eagerly anticipating season 3.

This series revolves around a family of Long Island Lock Jaw upper crust types, who also happen to be witches. So basically their little suburban dramas have the added angle of witchcraft.None of the plots make much sense. The actors, who fade in and out of various odd accents, are plastic-bland to look at and slightly worse than the average soap opera actor. The soundtrack tries to through in alt music, I guess to feel edgy, but fails because the stuff they picked is so very bland. It's OK if you need to think about something else while you wash dishes, but you'll concentrate more on the dishes than the show. Well, at least the dishes will be clean.

Well I waited for the second season to debut before I write my review and I wasn't disappointed! This show is one of the very rare shows that are absolutely flawless. While some are describing it as a rip off of "Charmed", well whether it is inspired by it or no, it doesn't matter because this show succeeded on one level "Charmed" failed, which is the 0 boredom tolerance policy.I remember skipping through "Charmed" first season's episodes because some are just dull and plain boring which I never did in this show.Plus "Witches of East End" succeed in a way others failed miserably which is keeping it interesting and eventful for a longer period than just the first season which this show accomplish and I witnessed in the first two episode of season 2.Talented hot actors, great story-lines and lovable characters make this show a complete package of greatness, and it deserves to go on for more than just two seasons.
